This trail is a bit rough without snow, but the top section would be pretty sketch with snow/ ice. We did this trail the 16&17 with a summit on the 17th. It was a long one!! I definitely think two days are needed. We camped about 8 miles in at the lake and the summit day and hike out ended up being 17 miles (we went off route a bit).
